How to Make an Amazing Easter Centerpiece for Your Table

Easter is one of those holidays where the table becomes the heart of the celebration. Whether you’re hosting brunch, dinner, or a simple egg hunt gathering, an adorable easter centerpiece is the perfect accessory you’ll need to bring a table together nicely. Let’s start with your shopping list for this craft and then we’ll get started.
What You Will Need:
- Wooden tray
- Easter bunny wooden cutouts (like these ones I got on Amazon)
- Fake spring flowers (I choose daffodils as they are my favorite)
- Glass vase
- Plastic easter eggs (you can find these at Walmart)
- Painbrushes
- Fine grit sandpaper
- Craft paint in pastel colors
- Decorative gem stickers (optional)

Start With the Wooden Pieces
I like to start with a quick sanding on any wooden pieces you intend to use for your easter centerpiece. The sanding helps create a suitable surface that will let the paint soak in and stick to it better.
I don’t spend a lot of time sanding, usually just a couple of minutes on each piece, just enough that the sand paper has gone over every surface 3-4 times.
Once you’ve sanded, it’s time to paint! I decided to focus on the pastel purple color on my pieces as purple and yellow are contrasting colors. Since my flowers for this craft are yellow, purple seemed like the obvious choice.
I decided to keep the bunnies purple as well, but as with all of my crafts, you could definitely switch up the colors to suit your unique easter decor style!
Gluing Everything Together
Once everything is painted fully and dry, you can start attaching everything together. I recommend using hot glue as it pretty much brings everything together nicely. A good solid multi surface glue should work nicely if you don’t have a hot glue gun.
It’s Flower (and Egg) Time!
Once the glue has dried and everything is solidly secured all together, it’s time to add the finishing touches.
I used my easter eggs to hold the flowers in position in the glass vase, but you can definitely switch that up with floral foam or decorative stones if you like. Another option is to source fresh flowers and use water in the vase too.
I decided to add some gem stickers to the base of the tray, but another easy option is to have your easter eggs piled in the tray around the glass vase!
Final Thoughts
I love how this easter centerpiece turned out, it looks so lovely and spring-like. This craft also was not terribly expensive, you might even be able to find a lot of the supplies you need at your local dollar store to spend even less as well.
The longest portion of this craft is the painting as I found I needed at least two coats over the wooden pieces to have them looking the way I wanted, but you could save more time with spray paint instead.
